Flaminia

“In ancient Rome, a priest dedicated to a specific deity, from whom they took their name. By far the most important, known as the maiores, were the ministers of the cults of Jupiter, Mars, and Quirinus, and were named flamines Dialis, Martialis, and Quirinalis, respectively.”

The project is founded on the idea of origin, traversing the entire Via Flaminia, which starts in Rome and crosses four Italian regions. The “Flaminia” project is part of a larger initiative focusing on the seven Roman consular roads, created in collaboration with six other Italian photographers.
